Electric Daisy Carnival is back in Phuket for its third Thai edition, Friday 18 to Sunday 20 December 2026, at Rhythm Park in Laguna Phuket. It runs as three nights, and it closes EDC’s 30th anniversary year worldwide.

The first Thai edition in 2025 pulled around 150,000 people over three nights, more than 50,000 of them from abroad. Most international fans connect through Bangkok, so here is the full plan.

The lineup, by sound

EDC is famous for the mainstage, but this year the underground side is seriously strong. Here’s the lineup sorted so you know where to head.

Techno

Charlotte de Witte, the Belgian queen of dark, relentless techno and boss of KNTXT. I Hate Models for fast, raw, industrial energy. Funk Tribu, Space 92 and Horsegiirl for heavy peak-time grooves.

Melodic techno and progressive

CamelPhat, the Liverpool duo behind some of the biggest melodic records of the last decade. Korolova and Miss Monique for deep, emotional builds. WhoMadeWho with a hybrid DJ set.

House and tech house

Dom Dolla and Mau P for the big tech house moments. Jamie Jones and Loco Dice, two names that shaped Ibiza’s underground. Vintage Culture from Brazil. And a rare one: Green Velvet b2b Steve Angello.

Mainstage and trance

Martin Garrix, Tiësto, DJ Snake, Sofi Tukker, plus trance legends Above & Beyond and Paul van Dyk.

Drum and bass

Andy C, the king of the genre.

More names are on the official lineup, and set times usually drop a few days before.

Like the lineup? Hear that sound in Bangkok

If you’re there for Charlotte de Witte

Proper techno all night is what Mustache Bangkok does on its big weekends. Dark, driving, no distractions.

If you’re there for I Hate Models

Go upstairs. Subwerk, in the same building as Mustache, plays hard techno every Friday.

If you’re there for CamelPhat or Korolova

Melodic techno is the heart of Mustache. Same goosebumps, smaller room, louder sound.

If you’re there for Dom Dolla or Jamie Jones

Tech house and house nights run at Mustache through the year, with international guests and local residents.

Bangkok to Phuket

Fly

The easy way. Flights from both Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK) take around 1 hour 20 minutes. Phuket Airport is in the north of the island, close to Bang Tao and Laguna. Book early: festival week fills flights fast and prices jump.

On the ground

Roads around Bang Tao get jammed at opening and closing, and taxis and ride apps are hard to find at the end of the night. Arrange your ride home in advance. Some hotels run festival shuttles, so ask when you book.

Where to stay

  • Bang Tao and Laguna: the closest, some places are walkable to the gates.
  • Surin and Kamala: 15 to 20 minutes away, more choice and beach bars.
  • Patong: the party town, but further away with heavy traffic on festival nights.

What to bring

  • Your original passport. EDC Thailand is strictly 20+.
  • Comfortable shoes and a light layer for after midnight.
  • A power bank and the official app.
  • Some Thai baht in cash for the ride home.
Drugs: Thailand’s laws are very strict and penalties are serious. Don’t risk it.

Your Bangkok stopover

Most people fly into Bangkok first. The weekend before EDC (Fri 11 and Sat 12 December) is a great time to spend a couple of nights in the city, and if you’re going to Tomorrowland Thailand that same weekend, you’re already here.

Bangkok’s house and techno scene is in Silom, in the city centre, close to BTS Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi.
