Privacy Policy

This website, mustachebangkok.com, is run by Mustacheseven Co., Ltd. (“Mustache”, “we”), 104 Ramkhamhaeng 64/3, Hua Mak, Bang Kapi, Bangkok 10240, Thailand. This page explains what personal data we collect when you use the site, buy tickets or book a table, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It follows Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA).
What we collect and why
Ticket orders and table bookings
When you buy a ticket or reserve a table we collect your name, email address, phone number (if you give it), the event, ticket type or table, the amount paid and the order history. We use this to issue your ticket with its QR code, send order and ticket emails, check you in at the door, hold your table, handle questions, refunds or transfers, and keep the accounting records Thai law requires. Orders are processed by WooCommerce and the FooEvents ticketing system on our own site.
Payments
Card and PromptPay payments are handled by Stripe. Your card number is entered on Stripe’s secure form and goes directly to Stripe; we never see or store full card details. Stripe shares with us the payment status, the last four digits of the card, the card type and the country, and it may keep your details to process refunds or prevent fraud under its own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy). PromptPay QR payments show “Stripe Payments” as the recipient in your bank app; that is normal.
Mailing list
If you sign up to the list we store your email address (and first name if given) in Mailchimp and send you presale links and event news. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also write to us to be removed. We do not add customers to the list automatically when they buy a ticket.
WhatsApp and contact forms
If you message us on WhatsApp or send a contact form, we keep the conversation so we can answer you and follow up on bookings. WhatsApp is run by Meta under its own privacy policy. Joining the Mustache WhatsApp community is optional; other members can see your profile name and number as set in your WhatsApp settings.
Chat widget
The “Chat with us” widget on the site is an automated assistant. What you type is processed by the chat provider so it can answer, and we can read the conversations to improve the answers and to follow up on real questions. Do not put card details in the chat.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to see how the site is used (pages visited, device, country, roughly where visitors came from) and the Meta pixel so that our Facebook and Instagram ads reach people who visited the site and so we can measure ticket sales from those ads. These tools set cookies and may collect your IP address, device identifiers and the pages you view. Google and Meta process this data under their own policies. You can block these cookies in your browser, use Google’s opt-out add-on, or adjust your ad settings on facebook.com.
Technical data
Our hosting (Hostinger) and content network (Cloudflare) log IP addresses, browser type and request times to keep the site secure and running. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used for marketing.
Cookies
The site uses cookies that are needed for the shop to work (your cart, checkout session and login), plus the analytics and advertising cookies described above. You can delete or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking the essential cookies will stop the checkout from working.
Photos and video at our events
We photograph and film our nights, and some of that material is used on this site, on our social media and in ads. If you appear in a photo or video and would like it taken down, email us with a link to the image and we will remove it.
How long we keep data
Order and payment records are kept for at least 5 years because Thai tax and accounting law requires it. Mailing list data is kept until you unsubscribe. WhatsApp and chat conversations are kept for up to 2 years. Analytics data follows the retention settings of Google Analytics (currently 14 months).
Who we share data with
We share data only with the services named above (Stripe, Mailchimp, Meta, Google, our chat provider, our hosting and content network providers) and only as far as needed to run the site and the events. We do not sell your data. Some of these providers store data outside Thailand; they are bound by their own data protection commitments.
Your rights
Under the PDPA you can ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, stop using it for marketing, or send it to you in a usable format. You can withdraw consent to the mailing list at any time. To do any of this, email info@mustachebangkok.com from the address you used with us. We answer within 30 days. If you think we have handled your data wrongly you can also complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee.
Age
Mustache is a 20+ venue and this site is not meant for anyone under 20. We do not knowingly collect data from minors; if you believe we have, email us and we will delete it.
