Zamna Thailand 2027: The Phuket Guide
The Tulum festival comes to Thailand for the first time. Dates, venue, tickets, what we know about the lineup, and how to fit Bangkok into the trip.

Zamna started in the jungle outside Tulum, Mexico, in 2017 and became one of the names people plan a winter trip around. It has since popped up all over Europe and beyond. Now it’s coming to Southeast Asia for the first time, on Friday 29 and Saturday 30 January 2027, at a garden venue just north of Phuket.
The lineup isn’t out yet, but tickets are on sale. Here is everything confirmed so far.
What is Zamna?
Zamna is a festival brand born in Tulum, built around jungle settings, big production and late sets. Over the years the Tulum editions have hosted showcases from names like Afterlife, Keinemusik, Circoloco, Black Coffee and Tale Of Us, and the brand has since run events across Europe and the US.
The Phuket edition is its first in Thailand and its first in Southeast Asia. Expect the same idea: a natural setting dressed up with lights and visuals, and a melodic, emotional take on house and techno.
The venue
Yeden Gardens is in Khok Kloi, Takua Thung district, in Phang Nga province. That’s on the mainland, just over the Sarasin bridge from the north tip of Phuket island. It’s outside the main beach resorts, so it doesn’t feel like a Patong night out, and it means you need to sort transport in advance.
Phuket International Airport is the closest airport, at the north end of the island.
Lineup
Not announced as of 23 October 2026. The organisers say artists will be revealed soon. Ignore names floating around on social media until Zamna posts them itself.
Based on the brand’s history, the sound to expect is melodic techno, house and afro house. We’ll update this page when the lineup drops.
Tickets
Tickets are sold through the official Zamna website, which links to its ticketing partner. The first release had one-day and two-day options in both general admission and VIP, with VIP adding backstage access, a separate bar and a raised view of the main stage.
Prices change between releases, so check the official site for what’s on sale now. Avoid resale offers in Facebook groups.
Getting there
From Bangkok
Fly to Phuket. Flights from Suvarnabhumi (BKK) and Don Mueang (DMK) take around 1 hour 20 minutes. From the airport, the venue is a drive north across the bridge.
On the night
Book a private driver for both ways, especially the ride home. Out-of-town festival sites are hard places to find a taxi at closing time, and phone signal can struggle with big crowds.
Already in Phuket for EDC?
EDC Thailand is six weeks earlier in December, and DnB Allstars runs in Phuket the weekend before Zamna. The Thailand festival calendar has the full season.
When to go and weather
Late January is dry season on the Andaman coast: sunny days, warm nights, and very little rain. Days are hot, so the gates opening at 16:00 is a good thing. Plan to arrive as the sun goes down and save your energy for later.
It’s also high season for Phuket, so hotels and flights get pricier the closer you book. Lock in your room first, then your flight.
Where to stay
- Khao Lak and the Phang Nga coast: beach resorts north of the venue, quieter and closer than most of Phuket.
- North Phuket (Mai Khao, Nai Yang): near the airport and the bridge, a short drive to the gates.
- Bang Tao and Laguna: more restaurants and beach clubs, longer drive.
- Patong: the party town, but the furthest away, with heavy traffic.
What to bring
- Your original passport. Zamna Phuket is 20+.
- Comfortable shoes for grass and gravel, and a light layer for later.
- Mosquito repellent. It’s a garden venue.
- Cash in Thai baht for drivers and small stuff.
Your Bangkok stopover
If you’re coming for Zamna’s melodic, afro and techno sound, you can hear plenty of it in Bangkok before you fly south. The Friday and Saturday before (22 and 23 January) are ideal for a couple of nights in the city.
The house and techno scene sits in Silom, near BTS Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi. Ours is one of the clubs there.

Mustache Bangkok
A house and techno club on Decho Road in Silom with a VOID Acoustics sound system, open Friday and Saturday. Melodic techno, techno, tech house and house, with international guests and local residents.
- Open
- Fri and Sat, 22:00 to 03:30
- Entry
- From 350 THB online, incl. 1 drink before midnight
- Getting there
- BTS Chong Nonsi, 5 min walk
- Door
- 20+, bring ID, no flip flops
