Tomorrowland Thailand 2026: The Bangkok Guide

Tomorrowland Thailand 2026: The Bangkok Guide
Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, Kölsch and Lilly Palmer in Pattaya. Dates, lineup, how to get from Bangkok to Pattaya, where to stay, what to pack, and where to dance in Bangkok before and after the festival.

Tomorrowland is coming to Asia for the first time, and it landed in Thailand. The festival runs 11 to 13 December 2026 at Wisdom Valley, just outside Pattaya, and Thailand has agreed to host it every year until 2030.
All 150,000 tickets sold out, and around 85% of buyers come from abroad. Most of them fly into Bangkok first. If that is you, this guide covers the trip, and the nights around it.
Who’s playing
More than 100 artists across the weekend. Martin Garrix and Swedish House Mafia top the bill, with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Steve Aoki, Lost Frequencies, Laidback Luke, R3HAB and NERVO on the big-room side.
For the house and techno crowd, the names to circle are Kölsch, with his melodic, emotional sets, and Lilly Palmer, who brings driving peak-time techno. Thai talent is properly represented too: Nakadia, one of Thailand’s best-known techno DJs, plays alongside Botcash, Honey Gee, Lonskii, Yukio, Maysaa, Riviere, Karty, Tiger Drama, 22Bullets, Sm1le, Nuttrix, Halo, Claudine and Mike Bond.
Set times usually come out a few days before the festival, so keep the official app on your phone.
Like the lineup? Hear that sound in Bangkok
If you’re there for Kölsch
Big, emotional melodic techno and melodic house. That is the core sound at Mustache Bangkok on most weekends.
If you’re there for Lilly Palmer
Driving, peak-time techno. You’ll find it at Mustache in the late hours, and harder still at Subwerk upstairs in the same building.
If you’re there for Nakadia
Thailand’s techno scene is bigger than most visitors expect. Silom is where it lives, and local DJs play there every weekend.
If you’re there for Martin Garrix or Swedish House Mafia
Bangkok’s big-room clubs sit around Sukhumvit and RCA. If you want to try something deeper the night before, Silom is a short ride away.
Tickets
Every pass and hotel package sold out. If you still need one, stick to the official site and app only. Screenshots on Facebook and “spare tickets” in group chats are the classic festival scam, and Thailand will be no exception with this much demand.
Bangkok to Wisdom Valley
Wisdom Valley sits in Khao Mai Kaew, about 30 minutes inland from Pattaya city. From Bangkok it is around 90 minutes by road on a normal day via Motorway 7. On festival days, plan for a lot longer.
By car or taxi
The easiest option with a group. Book a private driver in advance, especially for the ride home, because Grab and Bolt will surge hard at closing time.
By bus
Buses leave Bangkok’s Eastern Bus Terminal at Ekkamai (BTS Ekkamai) for Pattaya through the day. From Pattaya, take a taxi or Grab to the venue. Allow 2 to 3 hours door to door.
Shuttles
The Thai government has said it will run dedicated festival shuttle buses and add public transport. Details were not public when we wrote this, so check the official app closer to the date.
Flying in
Suvarnabhumi (BKK) has the most international flights and is on the right side of Bangkok for the drive south-east. Don Mueang (DMK) is mostly budget airlines. U-Tapao (UTP) is the closest airport to the venue, with fewer flights.
Where to stay
- Central and North Pattaya: the most choice, about 30 minutes from the gates. Hotels on the east side, near Sukhumvit Road and Third Road, are closer to the road out to Khao Mai Kaew.
- Jomtien: quieter and more resort-style, but 35 to 45 minutes each way.
- Bangkok: not ideal for the three festival days, the drive is long. Perfect for the days before and after.
The smart plan for most people: a few nights in Bangkok, three nights in Pattaya, then back to Bangkok before you fly.
What to pack
- Your passport. Thai venues check ID, and you will want it on you.
- Sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. December is dry season and the afternoons are hot.
- A light layer for the evening.
- Comfortable shoes you can stand in for 10 hours.
- A power bank, and a fully charged phone with the festival app.
- Some cash in Thai baht for the taxi home, in case your card or the app fails.
Your festival week in Bangkok
With the festival running Friday to Sunday, the best Bangkok nights are the weekend before (Fri 4 and Sat 5 December) and the weekend after (Fri 18 and Sat 19 December). Bangkok’s club district is Silom, in the centre, and it is where most of the house and techno happens.
Before: warm up in Silom
Land early, get over the jet lag, and spend your first weekend in Silom. It is walkable, close to BTS Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi, and packed with clubs where the music is the point.
After: the comedown
Not ready to go home? EDC Thailand runs the following weekend, 18 to 20 December in Phuket, with Charlotte de Witte, Dom Dolla and Vintage Culture on the bill. Or stay in Bangkok for one more weekend of club nights before your flight.

Mustache Bangkok
That’s us. A house and techno club on Decho Road in Silom, with a VOID Acoustics sound system, open Friday and Saturday. Melodic techno, techno, tech house and house, with international guests and local residents. Our December lineups will be on the website soon.

- Fri and Sat, 22:00 to 03:30
- Entry
- From 350 THB online, incl. 1 drink before midnight
