Silom Nightlife Guide 2026: Where to Go Out Near Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi

Silom nightlife map with BTS Sala Daeng, Chong Nonsi and Mustache Bangkok on Decho Road

Silom nightlife is what happens when Bangkok’s business district clocks off. Offices empty around 6pm, the street food comes out, and by midnight the side streets around Sala Daeng and Chong Nonsi are full. If you’re staying near Silom, Sathorn or Bang Rak, this is the easiest part of Bangkok to go out in, and one of the few areas where bars and clubs can stay open until 4am.

Why Silom is different

Silom is one of three Bangkok zones where licensed venues can stay open until 4am. The other two are RCA and Ratchadaphisek. Most of the city closes at 2am. Add two BTS stations, an MRT line and short walks between everything, and you can start with dinner and end on a dancefloor without taking a single taxi.

Early evening: street food and Patpong

Start on Silom Road and the sois around it for street food. Patpong Night Market sets up every evening between Silom Road and Surawong Road, a short walk from BTS Sala Daeng. Go for the food and the people watching.

Sunset drinks: rooftops

Bang Rak and Silom have some of Bangkok’s best known rooftop bars. Sky Bar at lebua (State Tower) is the famous one from the movies, and Vertigo at Banyan Tree on Sathorn Road is a short ride away. Book ahead on weekends and check the dress code, rooftops are stricter than clubs.

Bars: Silom Soi 2 and Soi 4

Silom Soi 2 and Soi 4, right by BTS Sala Daeng, are the center of Bangkok’s LGBTQ+ nightlife and two of the busiest bar streets in the area. Everyone is welcome, it’s loud and friendly, and it gets going around 10pm.

Late night: house and techno on Decho Road

When the bars wind down, walk to Decho Road. Mustache Bangkok is a house and techno club with a VOID Acoustics sound system, open Friday and Saturday from 10pm to 3:30am, with resident and international DJs playing techno, melodic techno and tech house. Subwerk, in the same building, goes harder with hard techno. One street, two clubs, a short walk from BTS Chong Nonsi.

Good to know for Mustache: 20+ with ID, no flip flops, card and cash accepted. Early Bird tickets are 350 THB online, door tickets are 500 THB, both with one drink before midnight.
