Best Techno & House Clubs in Bangkok 2026: The Underground Guide

Best Techno & House Clubs in Bangkok 2026: The Underground Guide

The 2026 guide to House, Techno, Melodic Techno and Hard Techno in Bangkok. Tried, tested, danced through.

Mustache Bangkok house and techno club dancefloor crowd Decho Rd

Bangkok’s underground club scene moves fast. Venues open, close and reinvent themselves on a quarterly basis, and what was the city’s best techno club two years ago is often a noodle shop today. So we put together this 2026 guide to the best techno clubs Bangkok has to offer, written from inside the scene, not above it.

We run Mustache Bangkok, a house and techno club on Decho Rd in Bang Rak. We listen, dance, drink and book at every venue on this list. If you’re in Bangkok and into house music, techno, melodic techno, tech house or hard techno, this is where you go.

The list is loosely ordered by what we love most, but every venue here is worth your night. Pick the one that matches your sound. Bangkok nightlife is broad enough that there’s no single best club, just the best club for what you’re in the mood for.

Best for House and Melodic Techno

1. Mustache Bangkok

Mustache Bangkok melodic techno club Void Acoustics sound system DJ booth
  • Sound: House, melodic techno, tech house, afro house
  • Sound system: Void Acoustics
  • Address: Decho Rd, Bang Rak (5 min from BTS Chong Nonsi, 8 min from BTS Sala Daeng)
  • Hours: Doors 22:00, close 03:30, Friday and Saturday
  • Capacity: 700 capacity, music-first floor
  • IG: @mustache_bangkok

Mustache Bangkok is the city’s home for house, melodic techno and tech house. The Void Acoustics rig sits in a tight, intimate room built around the dancefloor instead of the bottle service tables. No commercial filler, no EDM, no tourist-trap pricing, just the genres we book and the crowd that shows up for them.

Doors open at 22:00, the floor heats up after midnight, and we run until 03:30 every Friday and Saturday, which is properly late by Bangkok standards. Most other clubs cut at 02:00. Entry is 350 THB Early Bird online and 500 THB at the door with one drink included before midnight, no flip flops, 20+ with ID.

Across the year we book international house and techno DJs alongside the strongest residents in the Bangkok scene. Once a month we run Mustache Takeover, a bigger outdoor edition at venues across the city for when the Decho Rd room is too small for the lineup. Follow @mustache_bangkok on Instagram for upcoming events and lineup announcements.

Easy to find: 5 min walk from BTS Chong Nonsi, 8 min from BTS Sala Daeng, or drop the Grab pin at “Mustache Bangkok”. Questions on WhatsApp at +66 63 017 8555.

Best for Hard Techno

2. Subwerk

Subwerk Bangkok hard techno industrial club Decho Rd
  • Sound: Hard techno, industrial techno, psy trance
  • Sound system: Yamaha
  • Address: Decho Rd, Bang Rak (same building as Mustache Bangkok)
  • Hours: Doors 22:00, close 03:30, Friday and Saturday
  • Capacity: Intimate underground room
  • IG: @subwerk_bkk

Subwerk is the hard techno counterpart to Mustache Bangkok, in the same Decho Rd building, different floor, harder sound. Where Mustache books house and melodic techno, Subwerk handles the 140 BPM and up side of the Bangkok techno scene. Cage and factory styled dancefloor, low ceilings, intimate underground rave atmosphere, regular events from Rave Times and the wider hard techno collective network.

If you came to Bangkok for industrial techno, hard techno or psy trance, this is the room. Same Decho Rd entrance as Mustache Bangkok, two completely different nights depending on which floor you pick. A lot of weekends, dancers float between both rooms across one ticket cycle, which is exactly how the Decho Rd ecosystem is meant to work.

Easy access: 5 min walk from BTS Chong Nonsi, same Grab pin as Mustache Bangkok.

Best Hi-Fi House and Techno

3. BEAM

  • Sound: House, techno, hip hop, bass
  • Sound system: TPI Totem
  • Address: Thonglor, Sukhumvit
  • IG: @beamclub.bkk

BEAM is Bangkok’s flagship hi-fi club, recently reopened after a major renovation. The TPI Totem soundsystem stands 3 metres tall, engineered by the team behind fabric London and Ministry of Sound, and it remains one of the cleanest, most powerful rigs in Asia. The infamous floor vibrations are still there.

The reopening lineup featured Helena Hauff and Palms Trax, which sets the tone: international techno and house bookings, James Turrell-inspired lighting panels and a multi-room layout that includes the standalone Katsu space. Whether the night is house, techno, hip hop or bass, BEAM remains the beating heart of Thonglor nightlife and a non-negotiable stop for anyone serious about Bangkok club culture.

BEST FOR UNDERGROUND HOUSE

4. BEAMCUBE

  • Sound: Underground house
  • Sound system: TPI
  • Address: Thonglor (next to BEAM)
  • IG: @beamcube.bkk

BEAMCUBE is BEAM’s sister venue, now fully focused on house music since BEAM reopened the main room. The bookings push deep into the underground, the balcony has the best view in Thonglor and the TPI sound rig holds its own next to the bigger room next door.

Probably the best dedicated house club in the Sukhumvit corridor outside of Mustache Bangkok. Strong cocktail program, dialled-in lighting, a crowd of actual house heads rather than tourists hunting for EDM. Worth pairing with BEAM for one full night across both rooms.

@beamcube.bkk

BEST RAW HOUSE LISTENING ROOM

5. BAR TEMP

  • Sound: Underground house
  • Sound system: Martin Audio
  • Address: Sukhumvit
  • IG: @bartemp.bkk

When Never Normal closed in May 2024, the Bangkok underground house scene lost its most loved room. Bar Temp filled the void. The team behind it pulls from More Rice, Human Spectrum and Never Normal alumni plus seasoned bar veterans, which means the booking taste and the bar program are both several levels above your average new opening.

The Martin Audio rig is dialled for clarity over loudness, the room is small, the lighting is restrained, the visuals are minimal. It’s a listening club more than a party club, built for people who actually came for the DJ. If raw, top-tier house music in a no-frills room is what you want, this is the Bangkok answer in 2026.

@bartemp.bkk

BEST FOR ECLECTIC BASS

6. ROVER (BLAQ LYTE)

  • Sound: Eclectic, house, techno, bass
  • Sound system: Void Acoustics
  • Address: Sukhumvit
  • IG: @blaqlyterover

Run by the BLAQ LYTE crew (radio show, lifestyle clothing, now club). 250 capacity, Void Acoustics, genre-defying bookings that pull in the city’s best collectives. The smaller BLAQ LYTE 11 backroom runs separate parties through the week. Forward-thinking crowd, always on the pulse.

@blaqlyterover

BEST FOR AFTER-HOURS HOUSE

7. ELSEWHERE

  • Sound: Underground house
  • Sound system: Danley + JBL
  • Address: Sukhumvit
  • IG: @elsewhere425

Late-night house bar that opens at midnight and runs to dawn. Three brothers behind it, with Tokyo, New York and Paris experience. When most BKK clubs cut at 02:00 or 03:30, Elsewhere is where the weekend keeps going. Intimate, dark, music-focused. The proper after-hours move.

@elsewhere425

BEST FOR DISCO AND DESIGN

8. SIWILAI RADICAL CLUB

  • Sound: Disco, hip hop, house
  • Sound system: Custom (Ojas + NNNN)
  • Address: Central Embassy area
  • IG: @siwilairadicalclub

Built from over 5 tons of recycled plastic, sprung dancefloor, sound system engineered by NYC’s Ojas and Norway’s NNNN. Restaurant by day, discotheque by night, rotating disco, hip hop and house Wednesday to Saturday. Still finding its rhythm but the design and sound already rank top tier in Bangkok.

@siwilairadicalclub

BEST FOR WAREHOUSE RAVES

9. THE WAREHOUSE / CLUTCH

  • Sound: House, techno, eclectic
  • Address: Talat Noi
  • IG: @thewarehousebkk / @clutchbkk

Multi-functional Talat Noi cultural hub. Tattoo parlour, vintage shops, art studios and a hangar-sized event space that turns into a proper rave when the right collective takes over. RomRom and BCR are regulars. We’ve caught Ben Klock there on a random Wednesday with zero promotion, that’s the level.

@thewarehousebkk

BEST FOR MELODIC AND PROGRESSIVE

10. SING SING THEATER

  • Sound: Melodic, progressive, deep house
  • Address: Sukhumvit Soi 45
  • IG: @singsingtheater.bangkok

1930s Shanghai-themed venue with red lanterns, hidden mezzanines and a grand staircase that doubles as a dance floor. The aesthetic is heavy, but the bookings are serious: Sébastien Léger, Yokoo, Red Axes, Amine K and Technasia have all played here. Better music programming than most clubs its size in Asia.

@singsingtheater.bangkok

BEST FOR VINYL AND WORLD MUSIC

11. STUDIO LAM

  • Sound: Vintage, world, psychedelic, off-the-mainstream
  • Sound system: Custom tube
  • Address: Sukhumvit Soi 51
  • IG: @studiolambangkok

Audiophile bar from the ZudRangMa Records family. Tiny room, custom tube sound system, vintage records on the walls. The music spans Nigerian disco to vintage Cambodian rock to psychedelic blues. Cocktails made with 30+ types of homemade ya dong. Feels like a bar in Tokyo, drops you back in Bangkok when you leave.

@studiolambangkok

BEST FOR JAZZ TO HOUSE

12. SALON KIKU

  • Sound: Jazz, soul, funk, world, house
  • Sound system: Altec A7
  • Address: Above Studio Lam, Sukhumvit Soi 51
  • IG: @salon.kiku

A few flights up from Studio Lam. Altec A7 speakers, panoramic city views, serious wine list. Transitions from jazz café early to dancefloor late. Mature crowd, sophisticated sips. The grown-up complement to Studio Lam downstairs.

@salon.kiku

BEST FOR AUDIOPHILE HIDEAWAY

13. 12X12

  • Sound: Underground, eclectic
  • Address: Sukhumvit
  • IG: @12x12bkk

Tiny vintage Japanese-inspired audiophile bar. Couches, low lighting, intelligent soundtracks, plum wine and Japanese beers. Recently renovated and soundproofed after nearly closing for good. Hidden gem energy.

@12x12bkk

BEST FOR PARTY ENERGY

14. BACCARAT

  • Sound: Afro house, progressive, melodic, tech house, hip hop, R&B
  • Address: Sukhumvit
  • IG: @baccaratbangkok

The most accessible spot on this list. Less underground, more energy. Packed every weekend, mixed crowd of tourists, expats and locals, party spilling onto the street. If you want to mingle and dance without thinking too hard about the music, Baccarat is the move.

@baccaratbangkok
